Ian established ikona Analytics after spending over 20 years in human capital consulting and leading corporate HR People Analytics teams at some of the most iconic companies in the world including Amazon, JPMorgan Chase, Google, and American Express. Ian is a globally recognized People Analytics leader with extensive knowledge of the Big Tech and Financial Services industries and deep expertise in Human Resources transformations. He is known for “productizing People Analytics” by fostering collaborative cross-functional HR partnerships with Technology, Finance, Operations, Legal, and Compliance and creating data strategies, analytic roadmaps, and technology integrations that deliver measurable business value. Ian’s technical skills span data science, statistical modeling, machine learning, artificial intelligence, data governance, and analytics product development, complemented by his strong capabilities in technology implementation, UX research, process optimization, organizational design, change management, and project leadership. In addition to leading ikona Analytics, Ian also serves as a HR Venture Advisor at SemperVirens Venture Capital, an early stage fund investing in workforce technologies that are transforming the future of work.

Ian holds a Bachelors in Psychology from the University of Virginia, a Masters in Data Science from Northwestern University, and has studied AI and LLM product development in affiliation with Stanford University. He is a frequent speaker, guest lecturer, and has contributed to three books on People Analytics.
